So divorce technicality can stop Ar-Ruhi shaadi but in the end unless Armaan puts Abhira first because he really loves her, he is still gonna be pressured to marry Ruhi once divorce is finalized. so if he truly feels Abhira is the one for him, he needs to work hard to convince family and even Abhira herself that he is not pitying her or fulfilling his obligation and doing ehsaans. Bankruptcy side plot seems irrelevant to me. I mean, whats the use of that plot unless Kaveri doesnt start to dislike Ruhi and Goenkas for being poor now. Because Abhira has always been middle class and poor. so she will look hypocritical if she doesnt get uncomfortable that Goenkas are poor.

The only reason i see for abhira returning to PH is if court mandates it or she has to get in some major accident and be injured and everyone agrees that atleast until she recovers they can be decent and let her stay in their house since she is still bahu if divorce hasnt happened

Writing is so bad that they can make Abhira immediately forgive Armaan and move in to PH to handle the same brickbats that she is been doing for past 10 months with more arsenic laced barbs and night watchman duties from Ruhi.

She has no reason to return only because of divorce technicality.

but why would she forgive him and return unless he confesses he loves her and wants to make their marriage work. I dont see him doing that just yet. he has only just started to acknowledge that he cares, she affects him, he cant forget her. He hasnt called it love just yet

Moreover its gonna be crazy on part of Goenkas to leave Ruhi in PH if marriage falls apart due to Armaan picking Abhira. she can only stay if they think shaadi is being delayed until divorce of Abhimaan is finalized.
