My theory is definitely rural distress due to hyper-inflation, loss of livelihood during temple development like road widening etc. in Varanasi, Ayodhya etc.
Candidates track record and reach with voters.
In UP bulldozer model can get ruthless when individual society lands are being targeted and bulldozed. I've personally seen and known stories where women and kids peacefully working in a society are being attacked but wrongly portrayed as stonepelters in the media. Even Mohan Bhagwat visited and praised them for the society's contribution to the greater good.
Finally RSS(Sangh) being ignored and Nadda's statement that BJP doesn't depend on RSS for votes.
Inflation is a massive global problem bhai. As you said about UK. US is same. Indians are not living in isolation. But I don't think aam jantaaa cares for or thinks of things like - IIM, IIT, AIMS tho they should think of free ration, housing, medical treatment, etc. However, 1 lac per year khataaa khat is more enticing. Also they don't care for better roads and airports (they don't really use them in rural India much). They don't even know that things like the oil deal with Russia saved them so much money. The avg farmer is not even reading news to know of all this. Hence they need grassroots karyakarta
Also rallies should have spoken about this loud and clear. Humney deal keeya tel ke leeye warnaa petrol diesel aur electricity price double hotey etc. Send your work messages at grassroot level or any other relevant message to that segment vs global messaging.
Also remember this when I spent time In India during COVID, in US there was literally no way to get myself tested (without symptoms). In India, I was offered home testing at a price of 1,500 or so vs USD cost of $200 (but not available) but only people who spent time in both countries know about all this. Cost of mask in US in black market $10. In India I paid Rs 30-40 for the higher end mask.
Yes, agreed on ruthless also.
RSS should never ever have been ignored. Its fundamental to the core.
Too many mistakes in messaging :(
