Bad Year for Bollywood; Only 1 Clean Hit ?

Is Shaitaan the only “clean hit” of 2024 (I’m not talking about myself but the movie)

I know Fighter, Crew and TBMAUJ did well, but were they actually big clean hits?

The only difference between last year and this year so far is that we don’t have a huge blockbuster like Pathan. Looking at the upcoming releases, it seems we won't get another Gadar 2, Jawan, or Animal either. So, yeah, overall, it's been a bad year for the box office. But content-wise, this year has been better with many surprising hits. Last year, only movies like 12th Fail, the Kiara Kartik movie, and the Sara Vicky movie did well for small budget films. This year, we've had hits like Laapata Ladies, Crew, TBMUJ, Srikanth, Madagon Express, and Netflix releases like Chamikala, Heeramandi, and Bakshak. In terms of content, this year already beats last year. But yeah, in terms of money, this year will fall short. Not that it concerns me, I don't get a penny from box office earnings, so they can go bankrupt for all I care.
