my only expectation is that Armaan at least stops wedding without dp technicality. He may not want to acknowledge or accept what he feels for Abhira because its too complicated. At the very least can he acknowledge and say out loud that he does not like Ruhi and does not want to marry her. Thats the least he can do. Show the spine to stand up for himself and say "No, I cant marry Ruhi" . Why is he so hell bent on glorifying Ruhi as a devi?! She's selfish and obsessive. Can he at least have the guts to say no to her.

I am not a Ghum viewer so dont know much about the characters or storyline, but letting go of Shakti is definitely a choice. I have seen him in multiple shows over the years and he is certainly a good actor, especially by current itv standards. Maybe he was too pricey, and SP really seems to be in a cost cutting mode.

However, while I hate the regressive dumb shit of itv shows, I don't see any new ones faring better than ghum, rishta or anupama in terms of trps. With increasing digitalization trps are bound to go down. I barely know people who watch TV for something else other than news or sports.
