But these actions of Ani are not good at all and morally wrong too. Getting married to Arshi and wearing Jhanak's ring on his ring finger is cheating. I know he loves Jhanak very deeply and purely, but what justifications will he provide to Arshi except for lying? Lying itself is a form of cheating, and he is now not protecting Jhanak so no need to lie again.

This is emotional cheating. Today, I saw various comments on Reddit where everyone is saying this show is a glamorized version of an extramarital affair (I couldn't agree with them, though). Still, he should leave Arshi at any cost and not sacrifice himself for his family.

He needs to choose one path today, as no other girl will like this. He's making a fool of himself, which resulted in the loss of Jhanak in his life. If he had parted ways with Arshi a long time ago, Jhanak would have been living with him happily, though his family wouldn't accept her.

Also, I totally understand that Jhanak is equally at fault for fueling Rahul's misunderstanding, but in that scenario, what could she do since everyone was pointing fingers at her for breaking his relationship with Arshi?

Ani is smart and intelligent but lacks emotional intelligence severely. What was the purpose of showing PDA with Arshi to make her jealous? Isn't he also doing wrong to Arshi? His impractical actions are the main culprits of destroying 3 lifes altogether. Now he should learned from his mistakes and first cut all ties from Arshi as she's not compatible at all with him. Hope makers improve his charcaterization now!
