oh god, that's NOT what it means. Alia is in the top 5000 and she moved up 744 places compared to last week. To get the exact number, you would have to pay for IMDB pro. But she is NOT 744 - that's not what it means. It means that she moved up 744 places compared to last week.

Deepika is also in the top 5000 and she moved DOWN 1024 spots compared to last week.

These rankings change every week but here they added up 10 years worth.

The numbers also get affected by how much publicity do you do of yourself, how many controversies you're part of, how many events you attend, and especially having big life events like weddings, pregnancy, babies, death and major scandals.

Here's an example -- Margaret is currently no.33 and went up 287 spots compared to last week. So last week she would have been 320.

The only actresses with blockbusters are those working with big names. It's great that Alia achieved hits on her own. Her independent hits are changing cinema for the better. Starring in big films with forgettable roles is easy—Sonakshi had more blockbusters in a few years of her career, but what did that get her? Alia is building a legacy and inspiring future actresses.
