Yup. More clarity around what happened around Priyanka would clear a lot of things up - esp around Babita. It isn't quite clear when her manipulative ways began - after Priyanka left or has been part of her throughout.

Though Virat said that to Amruta, Babs is quite capable of faking illness to make him feel guilty. May be her health issues started when he got married and Virat got aware of it only after the divorce? May be she was depressed to see Virat depressed - as in "how can he cry over 'that' Priyanka (after all the pains I've taken to get rid of her from his life)?" [Hmm... or like RehokoRS23 mentioned in the previous post... she doesn't have any health issues!.... well... Ammu was losing breath chasing her but she just kept running.]

She had mentioned she chose to have a normal childbirth, against doctors recommendations... well... that suggests something going on in her mind since a long time. And since she is in focus right now, may be its time to have some backstory... and hopefully, Priyanka entry is about these flashbacks.

At one end, they say Babita was against Priyanka for Virat, she detested his choice as Priyanka was middle glass girl with no status hence unsuitable for her rich elite son, later confirmed she is gold digger. Also Babita & Ahuja's were upset Virat took a separate flat to live with his wife Priyanka post marriage, as family & wife couldn't get along.

So when her son's marriage broke within few years as per her wish, that too without couple bearing a child, Babita must be happiest person jumping with joy, celebrating her win, partying after Priyanka left Virat throwing ring on his face taking whatever money she got, as her son was also forced to return and live with family again in Delhi.. isn't it?

But other end Virat tells Amruta that post divorce, his mom suffered health issues, why? when she should have been actually relieved? Babita been under medication for hypertension, BP, anxiety, panic attacks only after Priyanka left as her son got depressed?

We Can Say she was sad for her son's state post separation, so be there for him no 🤦 She was more interested into getting him marry a Silly girl while her son didn't heal. Toh kya samjhe hum?

She is just a SELFISH Mother. The type who wrapped Virat in cotton wool. She wants Virat only for herself. So, no matter what happened with Pri, this lady is HELL personified for her son. She is blinded by her so-called love and can't see that her son is happy with another woman after ages who is such a perfect choice for him. In short, I'll Say Babita Ahuja can't accept her son's happiness and can't let him be happy. For her he should only be thrill only with his "apne".

Babita should not consider marrying her son then, and stop dreaming of grandchildren because her overprotective nature, if we can call it that way will kill her son. Toh tab kya karegi 🤷 Just saying!

Let's assume Virat believe babita but why would he marry amu . Babita will get panic attack seeing her so why ?

My take Virat think the person hurt his mom is framing amu so he wants to protect both of them by marrying her. Forcefully 😡 then in anger babita will blabber everything or actually coma mein jaigi.

Whatever is his reason for marriage ( forced) both amu and babita apne language me uska band bajagi. Ma or biwi k larai me fass gaya type his dialogue will come true.

That looks like the best possible reason for him to do so - keeps him comparatively sane... and hope that's how it is.

Do hope Ammu shows some spine too though - not a silent 'victim' as shown in the promo.
