This Ruhi character trajectory has been an interesting one. It went from she's ungrateful, undeserving, bratty to oh she's the true legacy FL because she had a childhood. Funny thing is, back then she was actually sensible and good and now she's just a characterless woman filled with lust, lies and manipulation.

Zama is the very worst writer, in nimki mukiya , the heroine got rapped in a very worst manner and in the end both the hero and heroine family Barbad hogaya.

From what I remember in nimki mukhiya she took revenge and at the end got her ex fil arrested and he killed his son(her rapist). So she destroyed everyone's life who wronged her.

There was no ml in this show.

Considering other shows who give big dialogues on independent fl and character arc this show did quite better.

From dumb and delusional girl she became strong and mature. And she even became cm at the end of S2.

So I actually found that show entertaining and the writing was okayish.

Writing in rishta is definitely bad no doubt but seeing zama's old shows it was decent work there......pata nahi yahan kya hua.

@sejal, I watched Imlie 1 on Hotstar after S2 started ,couldn’t watch s2,Imlie 1 is out of wedlock but she is not legacy FL , imlie 2 is from wedlock and both Imlie and Aryan got separated but they are still married and very much in love with each other.

Like in the show, Rohit toh sirf naam ke liye hai, pura ka pura topic is about bhabhiji, her unconsummated condition, her shaadi with jethji, a PL for a gen that may not happen, who will die etc etc etc. I saw like two sentences about Rohit/Shivam in the whole big paragraph, that too worrying about bhabhiji.

There were like two sentences about Shivam in the whole topic, that too worrying about bhabhiji's shaadi. Baki, everything was Ruhi this, Ruhi that. When the entire topic is discussing Ruhi not so Birla’s future, I wonder what else were we supposed to write?
