when and how he realized is what wandering in my head constantly. What he said today and things he has been saying is no joke. Either he already realized and testing Jhanak to see if the feelings are mutual or he casually blurting out his feelings one moment at a time due to being impulsive maybe because Jhanak is leaving? And this is just making him insane.

He has realized it when he proposed for BD date. Just for feelings why he will propose and he has been giving Indirwct hints to jhanak during the whole date . Unless he himself he is not sure why he would like to get response from jhanak. The way he is daring to say about jhanak in the mental asylum he definitely knows it.
