I was too mad at Ab for choosing the place over hostel. But acc to me it does not matter if Ar comes, she can give 7/8 galis to him and throw him out of the hostel. But her expectation that Ar might come is not baseless. It often happens in itv/movies and he might try to go to hostel in the upcoming episode. We know he went out of PH worried at night. So if he tries to find her he will land up in hostel first if they show logically. And if they show illogical then they will bump into each other in the middle of nowhere.

I think primary reason for Abhira to move in a private room is to show that creepy guy and hardships she is facing to keep her in the storyline. If she goes to hostel again, at worst she can have is some minor fight with some other girl (which already happened when a girl stole her assignment). She doesn't have any overlap with Poddars and Goenka to keep her involved. They could have had tried showing her continuing her internship and work on some cases or have issues at work but no.
