Firstly, they never tell you in advance that they are coming because that creates a bias and they dont want that. It is widely understood that if they tell you about their visit then you will out your best foot forward which might or might not be true with regular customers. Hence, they always come as regular customers and NEVER reveal their identity until their job is done.
Is Rajan Shahi even educated? I highly doubt that!!!! He never seem to show anything that is in reality logical and true in any of his shows. He is not showing the US as it is and showcasing all crap about the country. he is not even showing food business and restaurants the way they are run plus the role of food critics has now newly taken into a toss and for granted.
To get American Star (which is in fact Michelin Star in reality), restaurant owners and chef's spend years of building reputation in that city not just like that it happens!!!! None of the masterchef india winners are Michelin star chef's as yet. Just because you win a reality show it does not happen like that. OMG!!! Rajan Shahi is so damn crazy its unbelievable.
Being a US citizen and living here for 16 years now, I have never seen media with so many mics and camera's in New York city just waiting for taunting people or getting their bites. Also, only pure vegetarian restaurants serve Indian vegetarian food otherwise MOST of the Indian restaurants here in the US have both meat and veg in their menu as they want even Americans to come and eat at their restaurant. They cannot run a business in NY city without meat. I am sure this fool Rajan Shahi has no true knowledge of how the US works and has made these rules for his so called fake America.
Chee yaar, this crap needs to end please take the story back to India so that you can keep showcasing this crap!!! Such things DOES NOT happen in the US.
