I could see some disappointment on Ani face when she said ki aap yeh kya keh rahe ho when he talked about marriage. So later on he twisted that you also remember each and every thing . For some the marriage dialogue looks out of place. But I think he used the dialogue bcoz jhanak was feeling embarrassed that she came so close to him so to make her comfortable he used the dialogue that it’s fine even you hugged me as we are married and later he will twist this into prank after the response of jhanak.

He might turn it to prank or he might have done it to avoid embarassment ,whatever it can turn out in tomorrow epiosde doesnt matter .

He did say it for real as the monologues from previous episodes seal the deal .
