She didn't hesitate to leave. It was more just the finality of things overwhelming her. She took slow measured steps. But She didn't turn to look back once. She gathered herself.

I know the checkbook will save her as the crook will take it and leave her unharmed. But she has been stupid to choose that place period. Specially when the hostel was an option. I have a different perspective about the rest.

she's not a robot. She wasn't expecting Armaan who asked for time few hours back to be insensitive enough to announce his shaadi plans as she was leaving.

She stumbled but she didn't fall. She did not look back. She handled herself. I found that poignant. That no matter how many hits she gets, she'll stumble but not fall and she'll handle herself without anyone coming to hold her and steady her.

I think its very normal to be affected by everything but she didn't show her vulnerability to them. She only cries in solitude. She was in love, she had seen them all as family so she will take time to get over everything.

I wish that happens that people call out the Poddars .. recalling that Ruhi was married to Rohit but she stayed back to do gulu gulu with her jeth after killing her husband off ..

since they are Goenka invites they also correlate that Ruhi’s mother had done the same .. after her husbands death stayed as a friend and fiancée in an on and off relationship with her jeth who eventually dumped her

In any case Kaveri will have some audacity to complain after herself handing a check book with signed blank checks.

From another point of view, Kaveri thought she helped Abhira by offering money. It’s another point that Abhira craves for family not money. However, Dadisa doesn’t understand this. Dadisa is orthodox and autocratic. She thinks Abhira is ambitious and not suited for her family. The fact that Abhira went for a deal marriage also implies that she is not serious about family life. They think Abhira trapped their son for her selfish ambition. They are obviously wrong about Abhira but seems like they have made up their mind. It reflects a sort of binary thinking on their part.

Armaan is their son so they overlooked his mistake. Abhira, on the other hand seems disposable to them. So they thought it’s better if she is out of their family. Financial security is important, specially for a single girl. So she doesn’t have any guilty conscience against Abhira. According to her, she gave Abhira everything that she needed.
