I agree she was stupid to pick that room. So that bit is reckless and not required. She didn't need to pick an unsafe location.

But her heartache now is big. The wounds are fresh. So she's still very affected. That won't disappear so quickly so i don't see anything wrong in her expressing her pain and crying it out in solitude.

She didn't hesitate to leave. It was more just the finality of things overwhelming her. She took slow measured steps. But She didn't turn to look back once. She gathered herself.
