Honestly I'm not very sure about Ani's moral compass and the values he stands by and I'd blame it on writers for not letting us clearly get into his mind. They haven't clearly mentioned what are the non negotiables for him in his life?

I have seen women putting up with even worse things when it comes to a relationship. Women usually try very hard to sustain a relationship even if its harming them, even some men do that!

Its a long term relationship so Arshi is trying everything to keep him in control, to pacify him. But alas she doesn't realise once the love goes away it doesn't return

I agree. Ani can’t get away easily from Arshi. In the future he has to spell it out multiple timed to Arshi that he has fall out of love with her but then also she will purely blame Janak for the mishap. The more he delay, the more it gets tough.

He is more flexible, less impulsive, and calculative guy with the big picture in mind. Only with matters related to J does he act otherwise. She is his kryptonite to say short. Adi on the other hand is very rigid with his ideals and that is his utmost priority outside his relationship with Imlie, he grew up holding a different set of responsibilities and hence a difference in his ideals and demeanor compared to Ani.

Maybe I will have to revisit it to see if my predictions are still on track lol.

This is what initially drew me in, because Arshi was bolder compared to Malini and I wanted to see how she would be handled post-revelation of the marriage truth. Yahan tho they made her worse than Malini.

I hate/pity her more than Malini.

Remember how we were playing guessing games after his accident? Right now he is in abandon all hope mode hence his actions are more spontaneous and impulsive. He has realized Jhanak is not one to be manipulated like he can with others and hence his different set of actions/reactions towards her.
