I expected this at today's dinner. There is no need to confess his love as he has not realized it. Can he not open up and explain his feelings to Jhanak as a Friend?

Let her decide on what she wants to think about it, but at least use this dinner opportunity to express his heavy heart.

This is why I am disappointed with today's episode.

He has talked about Rahul, Kashmir, and her career multiple times.

The pressing issue right now is his conflicts; why did he not use this dinner to approach her as a friend to let out his conflicts?

Fantastic dear. This is my same disappointment too. The talk was very casual and not deep and not about the important matter that needs to be addressed. They both are brushing the things inside the carpet. They both have lied and come to a restaurant alone to celebrate Ani’s birthday when whole family is waiting. The need for Ani to do this and for Janak to fulfill his wish can’t be put only her humanitarian basis. There is much more to it. They need to address and face it. In stead he is talking about Rahul coming to Kolkata. I also found him very cool about Janak leaving to Kashmir today. I really confused now. One thing for sure is makers want to stretch Ani realization as much as possible. They release the bts to increase curiosity but at the same time it puts across different expectations to the viewers and when the actual episode didn’t match that, we feel disappointed. Either they should not release the bts or episode Should surpass our expectations. As we always said, the story is very incoherent, characters are inconsistent and there is tone of loop holes and the details are not being taken care properly.

@B - I honestly feel whoever writing these dialogues about death in this show is bipolar. I am saying this with utmost sincerity that they get help in real life. I have lost a colleague because of this for real couple of years ago and that’s why it doesn’t sit right with me with the amount of references they have about death in this serial. Depression, suicides & death are not some normal topics to keep writing as general dialogues. I wish and pray whoever are writing these stuff get help! Doesn’t the actors or director etc feel these dialogues inappropriate in repeat fashion I wonder.

On a lighter note, apart from those stupid dialogues, I kind of liked them. I think the disconnect you might have felt probably is, our titular character of his eyes didn’t get much screen space today, it was more of J’s side of expressions showcased making it a bit one sided may be.

They also had the comments Choton made that when she will leave him and go Ani will be shattered. Also he said eeryone will be jealous of her pati. I doubt they will show Jhanak climing the ladder to success as Ani's wife.

I wanted to write an essay on her behavior with the trio Ani-J-JK. But couldn't find time for it. Basically, she is insecure, and scared and as a result her jealousy unfolds with these three mainly.

Ani, because he is what she wanted Laal to be but isn't gullible like her husband who she can control with her sweet facade.

JK, because she is insecure JK is successful and also rich unlike her but is gullible hence it is easy to keep her under the thumb.

Jhanak, in general not just to her but all Basus who are hypocrites who believe success and class is born unto money and Jhanak is literally proving them all wrong, especially her. She is a maid, yet she earns her own money in lakhs and is richer than TMW who has to depend on Laal without doing the work Jhanak does.

Basically, TMW is a personification of the song I posted yesterday from Soothu Kavvum. She doesn't wanna work hard but araam se apne family ke paison pe aish karna hai. A typical rich pampered socialite is all she is like her Kaakimaa Tanuja.

How I think of Ani...

Even EK serials are much better in this regard!

Writers need to be changed here.

Whatever dialogues Ani and Janak are speak should be written in water as it does not have any value to it.
