That’s my point too ..if Ruhi has to be redeemed, there has to be true repentance and she needs to take corrective steps to set right her wrongs ..just backing off from the wedding won’t redeem her even if she does it ..it will remain a cosmetic effort at whitewashing ..having said that, I get the feeling the makers want to do that ..they are willing to throw even the ML under the bus to make Ruhi look squeaky clean 🤷🏻‍♀️

Armaan ke character se itna ky hate hai bhai, even when he is telling Ruhi he doesn't love her , the dialogues are so bad. Did Rishta makers even watch Ghum S1, where Ml clearly told the PL he does not love her.
