Next year is a fresh auction, w/ every squad allowed to hold up to 4 players, and a max of 2 overseas. MI's first choices are likely to be Bumrah, SKY & Ishan, & one of their overseas players. So they'd have to put Rohit back in the pool & bid on him, and they may not want to, given his mixed performances this season
