I loved this when it released in 2014, and loved it even more when I watched it recently.

First off, let's talk about our star-crossed lovers, Krish and Ananya. They're like the Romeo and Juliet of the modern Indian subcontinent, except instead of feuding families, they have feuding cultures to contend with. Krish, the charming Punjabi lad, falls head over heels for Ananya, the spunky Tamilian girl. Cue the fireworks! But wait, it's not that simple. Their families? Let's just say they're about as compatible as oil and water.

Now, let's dive into the family dynamics. Krish's loud, boisterous Punjabi clan clashes with Ananya's more reserved, traditional Tamil family. The scenes where the families meet are pure gold, filled with awkward silences, hilarious misunderstandings, and enough tension to cut with a butter knife.
