Ani has been pushed from both the sides. The family and mainly Arshi’s not so good demeanor towards Jhanak has led him move closer to Jhanak more than what and how he feels for her. I love his monologues because it some what give us a clue of how clueless he has been 😂 But He has seen it all how no one give her any sort of importance or matter of fact not even showing an ounce of humanity towards her. So he feels his responsibility towards Jhanak has doubled. He has become mommy and Daddy both.

You are absolutely right, the more time he waste trying to pacify Arshi and pouring his zaberdasti wale feelings which he has stopped being effected to might put a barrier around Jhanak and she might back off. I just hope once they set out in Kashmir, Ani would actually stop trying to mend his relationship with Arshi. However, I think he might still do until he is sure of Jhanak’s emotions for him and what he actually feels for him. Warna toh jis tarake se Jhanak brush off kerti hai, bechare ka moo utar jata hai
