Actually Ammu feeling guilty of giving her back does not go with her character as Babita is not a saint woman that you should be guilty. Her attitude when Babita was humiliating her when she brought proof of Bhang kaand that was so good and would prefer to continue the same after she becomes her Bahu.

Actually I did not liked Virat agreeing to go to London under family pressure as Ammu sacrificed her character to save him and his reputation. He very well knows Ishika and society ladies will use this to insult her still he preferred to run away rather than standing by her and facing it. This shows there is no major growth in his character still he will choose family over her whereas Ammu went against family to save him. That's huge difference between both.

I don't know why makers have no will to insult or humiliate villains in this serial. Does babita really deserve that much respect from Virat and dildar? ( I don't want to conclude Nimrit because she is wasted character for me) how can Virat respect and obey his mother all time when he knows very well that how much she insult Amruta and her mother? Just because of his excess respect for his mother make his character weak. And now they are making Amruta's character weak by this same thing. The impudent woman who insult you, your upbringing, your mother,how can you still respect that woman that in acting too you can't disrespect her? I think Mukta and her team are not only obsessed with villains but also babita character whom they want just do whatever she want to do and everyone have to respect her,no humiliation,no insult, only she has the right. Exactly, why the memory loss now? At least keep Babz as a suspect in Ammu's mind but maybe show that she is hesitant to mention it to Virat and that she is confident the clue will lead to someone else... Why direct omission from suspect list??? Why

That Ishika roka day is a good enough example for both of them to be cautious around Babita if not have her in the suspect list. She explicitly mentioned babs to be one that day and he witnessed how she used him to insult Bhavani.

Yup... can give it to both that they wont expect her to do such a bad thing... but then both can be cautious about not giving her the clean chit.
