Since they hired Hiba in lead role and we are used to romantic angle between leads this expectations.

The writers had the original story with Arshi I think.

That was fine .

But they should not have left the loop open as to check with viewers interest and then change story line .

That was bad idea from writers .

The eye locks played a major role in we assuming the leads are so much in love and emotionally connected (atleast I thought so from long ago , with his dialogues and eyes )

They should have had the guts and own their original story without looking for trp buisness .

Now its reached a point where audience cant consider this has his sympathy.

May be they can too with their pace of showing Anirudh so bad , we ourselves are agreeing to Jhanak moving away from him.

Lead pair has top class chemistry and without romantic angle it will be a flop show. No one wants to see Ani getting married to Arshi and him running behind another girl saying I am just helping her. They're also playing "Teri meri prem kahani hai mushkil" song and all! With longing eyelocks

I feel Shristi very well knows about Anirudh state of mind .

But her dislike for Jhanak and Urvashi is not allowing her to let Anirudh be with Jhanak.

Even today she said did Jhanak do something that Anirudh is angry with her.Also Arshi loves him so much that she is unable to make her realise too. Arshi never takes her mom seriously.

She is simply spoiling her life .

Apart from Tejas its Shristi who knows well that Anirudh likes Jhanak more than anything and cares for her. His anger can anytime subside and they will patch up.

Shristi character is good grey/ dark one , if it was Dolly ji then we would feel her power . Now its looks so cheap character .She is one of the important characters of Jhanak world , but now...

Forget this brother just show a man helping a women in need .

He has his life.

No need to take a romantic angle at all.

Hire a better actor for Arshi and do all the eye locks or whatever .

The casting for Arshi is so bad if their story was supposed to be of helping the lead and marrying Arshi.

But like you said will it sell?

It is risky !!!

Specially with Hiba n Krushal chemistry it would have been very difficult without romance .
