Jayesh is a guest who just makes appearance when required that too casual appearance as he is always invisible when important things happens with his daughter. He was not there when Ammu proved innocent in bank fraud.

Aaji might had argument with her over his innocence and she must have said about him taking advantage of her unconscious state so she got alert Aaji may object on her statement and prove her wrong at the police station.

I feel this is aajis planning. Before police takes virat, ammu says he is bekasoor , then look at ajjis expression. And then ajji reaches ps before amu and she suddenly gives this statement.

Exactly. Since she could not convince her she came up with a plan and today they made Virat not reacting to it nor cleared she is telling lie means he will confront her first and they may carry on with this drama even infront of their family.
