I haven't seen gen 3, but used to watch rishta till gen 2, and I think this is true, to an extend. Also, I don't think in a show like rishta a third angle like ruhi would work for a long term. They should have wrapped Armaan-Ruhi thing a long time back.

Instead of Charu, they could have actually made Dev Kajal’s ex ..that would have made for a far more interesting story …VR is a good actor ..they could’ve put him to better use

Nah - as per BTS Abhira came to know about her papa through mom’s diary.

She says, ‘mumma I thought ap sabse achchi ho par papa apse bhi achche hae. Aur Main unki beti hu.’

Matlab she will turn achchai ki murat like her dad. Something I feared n didn’t want makers to do is make Abhira like her father who is silently supporting n waiting for her turn in Ak life.
