I think they wanted to show that Ar was very worried and thats why he ran to the hostel. The situation is a little less severe than hospital time. So intensity of reaction is less and moreover there has been an actor change so different depiction.

Plus she embarrass the hell out of him and

most importantly she didn't need him, you see how

affected he was he almost ran over Manish ji
