My theory 👇

Ranbir haters + Ranveer supporter votes remained constant in both the polls but Ranbir probably got a lot of neutral votes in first (good looking) poll.

But in the second poll (worst looking) the neutral votes got divided amongst the other 3-4 options.

You can see that the other options (other than Ranveer & Ranbir) have more percentage of votes in the second poll (worst looking) compared to the first poll where most votes were divided between veer & bir only (from their respective fans/haters+gathbandhan).
