It won't be easy for Ab to consider their relationship again especially after hearing words like Zimmedari and majboori from Armaan. Also the family won't accept her easily. He has proper reasons to do so. First of all Madhav knows armaan is used as a doormat for the whole poddar clan, he has no self morale left to choose his own happiness. Secondly, he also knows abhira has feelings for him. I think here he is trying his best to help his son be happy with a good girl like abhira. Had he knew his son's amar prem kahani, I have doubt he would have come out with such conditions!!!!

yes he is showing traits of ashwini 2.0 .., he wants Abhira because she is good for Armaan and has the courage to fight his mother .. but still he is in a better space he is not dependent on his mother for living plus ..

Vidya is not Armaan’s biological mother ..

Closest relationship Armaan has right now is Madhav n Abhira ( legally )
