Most of the the MLs from Shashi Sumeet PH are green flags I guess. Yeah, there are exceptions like Vijayendra character in Mose Chhal (where he is a villain) and Dil Se Dil Tak's ML.

Naagin MLs are also green flags to some extent except N6 and N2. N4 ML is kinda neutral.

And PKPA Shiv Shakti's ML is also a green flag.

Na bole tum na meine kuch kaha was by them I think ..

Hero there was also a biggest green flag..played by actor Kunal..I loved that show season 1

Opps sorry comprehensive understanding issues are there so I am simplifying I mentioned no need to compare and I said that coz the comment i quoted was quoting another comment mentioning Abhinav.

But actually one should not compare any ML to him for 2 reasons

First coz he wasn't even a ML a mere Cameo

Second coz others whatever flaws they have still had one thing a Spine.

Conclusion: Anirudh Roy Chowdhury was a better person and actually a great example of a great lead any day. Plus the actor played the character perfectly 👌🏻

Unlike Abhira's dad for sure he was standee not a green flag. Actually no comparison with Anirudh Ro Chowdhury can never be. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

He saved a young girl by marrying her, broke up with his GF for her, educated her, made pads for her during her periods and always stayed loyal to her. Not many ML are capable of this. A true green flag or shall I say green forest he was. Wish ITV had more hero’s like this rather than the same old wine in a new bottle.

I don’t think itv at least in recent times have a clear cut green and red flags.. these things work in Korean and Pakistani dramas as they have fixed number of episodes. Here the focus is on increasing episode count and trp and for that overnight characters take 180 degree turn.. and from green flags become red carpets…

And tbh over green flags are like vanilla, too plain and boring while red flags beyond redemption are also not enjoyable to watch.. flawed character with good redemption or morally grey characters are what I like. Coz you can’t write a beautiful character with a good arc without showing their flaws as they make them more real

Aditya Hooda, Abhimanyu Birla, Dev Dixit, Viaan Raghuvanshi are some of the flawed yet beautiful positive characters who can’t be compartmentalised in green or red flag… I am currently watching udne ki aasha, Sachin can be considered as a green flag.. even Anirudh Roy Choudhary was one as well…

I wouldn’t consider Abhinav as a green flag as firstly the title states ML while he was a cameo and secondly more than green, red flag, ‘Abhinav’ was not a well written character… and this I am saying as a neutral viewer who has called out both the leads when they have done mistakes.. in the 6-7 months that he was, nothing was explored in his character apart from being an under confident yes ma’am and a pushover.. and imo bowing down and being a 24/7 yes ma’am isn’t a green flag.. humans react differently under different circumstances and that doesn’t make them red flags.. we never got to know how Abhinav would have reacted when faced with traumatic situations…

JNDSD actually showed conflicts without turning the leads pathetic. FL's father was an outright villain and all three were victims of his actions. And later Ravish's (Shashank's character) mom took the negative role. None of the leads could be blamed completely for what happened. They were all flawed people caught in other people's plotting.

Yes true. But the show turned messy when Vividha married Ravish after divorcing for the second time. Many used to tell that the producer was focussing too much on his other show (KRPKAB 1) so that he couldn't focus on JNDSD. Vividha was also criticized by many though she could not be blamed for whatever happened.
