Thing like this can push someone over the edge. She might take help of Adi get on Ani’s nerves. She is naive but Adi is not , and if he can put figure out Ani is Jhanak’s husband, he can figure out the love triangle here and will try very much hard to steal jhanak from Ani. But you ladies are saying ad shoot might be the last we see of Adi, so not sure. But I hope he stays ! Jhanak needs someone by her side to handle this Anirudh Bose!

Jhanak is too naive....any one can easily manipulate her ..her brain works only in Tejas presence...rest of the time her brain takes long Break...so I don't have any problem if she takes help from AK...but I just hope she won't involve in any other kind of mess by blindly believing Aditya.

Instead, it could be from the very blueprint of his family - how the Men are Working while the women are Not allowed to work. It must've been deep seeded in his subconscious mind - patriarchy. Anirudh being the modern educated person wouldn't have had to go through Self Introspection, bcz at the face of it, he is very much the quintessential Alpha male. Arshi being his choice of life partner, only cements this notion. Apart from this, his obvious connect with Jhanak at a subconscious and conscious level & the battle between these 2 worlds (which I usually simplify as Head & Heart), is very perplexing for him. Further, what makes it a chaotic struggle for him - could be the fact that Jhanak (who has become a part of him) is not what he imagined she is, thereby giving him a sense of scare that He is not what he thinks he is, either. His feelings of Betrayal seem to be more from/of/by his own Self. The catalyst is more Internal than External. He shd Wake Up & take Cognizance of his Inner Self & only then can he free himself of the Shackles of the complex Emotions/Thoughts.

If left unworked, we can see what happens

Ani thinks for the future , plans every move. While jhanak things very little of the future, thinks with her heart. I guess opposites attract ! ❤️

very well said! Agrees with my observation of ani’s character. In fact very first scene of this show of Bose family was of the fact that Ani is the “alpha male” in the house. Everyone around him , even the society, his neighbors all have given him given this crown of the perfect male, who can never be wrong. Because he is very soft spoken , knows how to win someone heart, how to win the argument without stirring lot of commotion. “Kuch bhi ho baazi hamesha anirudh Bose ke haath me rehani chahiye” he has everyone in Bose house and mukharjee penned down. He knows what will trigger who, what will calm whom , what will offend whom…He expected jhanak to follow the path he make for her but she did exact opposite everytime. She might have cooperated in the beginning , seemed harmless but then she realized she is becoming a nuisance to Bose and mukharjees because of all the lies Ani decided to say. And she started acting out of character. And baazi theere theere hath se jane lagi. Jhanak is very simple minded while anirudh is very calculative. The only person he isn’t calculative for is jhanak. His mind stops working when it comes to her. I feel this quality of him might be result of living in a joint family. He grew up with a divided family where everyone’s views are different from each other. I think he figured out from childhood how to handle people given he had to do this since childhood to keep everyone together.

Both Jhanak and Ani are survivors of childhood PTSD also know as complex PTSD whose symptoms are manifesting differently in each of them. In the case of Ani he has learned to be a people pleaser to maintain the status quo. Also, form boundaries to have his sanity preserved. Hence his manipulation and calculative nature are a result of his neglectful parents and complex joint family dynamics where he was both pitied and envied for being his parent's only son. His boundaries are also a symptom of his detachment and his anger for Jhanak is a problem with emotional regulation leering towards aggressiveness.

As for Jhanak, her symptoms include highly pessimistic thoughts (Problems in emotional regulation), problems with assessing self-worth and an identity crisis which is also worsening with her current clinical depression owing to the Basus treatment of her.

So yes, they are both adult survivors of childhood trauma which is manifesting in their later years definitely worse in the case of Jhanak.

Yeah, hence Jhanak's left-field actions give the wrong first impression and Jhanak ends up paying a heavy price in the name of misunderstandings.
