The girl acting is decent and I am liking her post marriage simple saree looks but I feel like she looks old compared to KD. He needs costars who look young and delicate in front of him .

Mujhe Sai ke liye bhi same lagta hai.The actresse who look dainty and delicate make visually appealing pairing with him like Shivangi and now Adrija . One of the major reasons why I feel sugar syrup pairing didn't work out apart from nauseous concept is because the girl didn't fit in this prototype

I am sorry but the girl couldn't act as well.. Infact even Sai ka acting was subpar as if he was doing just for the sake of it.. He was better in MHRW and obviously in Imlie, he has become much much better...

Also the dialogue writing, the storyline, the cinematography...

I had not watched it properly as much as I thought.. After u all talked about the shower scene, I saw it for the first time yesterday.. And OMG what was it.. 🤣

Toh yeah, u might be onto something in terms of visual appeal... But there were many many factors which didn't work for Sugar Syrup..

Sai wasn’t convinced about the show and sadly it was clear from his acting. I didn’t not watch this show coz I could not watch mediocre performances and plots.

I feel Sai needs a good and strong director to get his best out. Ashish and Hemant were both able to do that. The other actors were bad and the story didn’t click. Chemistry was absent. It’s funny the producer took 5 months and churned out this crap.

I have not watched the OG show. I am just watching this in FF mode. One thing I don’t like in the show is the ML’s mother is too toxic and actually hates her son. She has 3 kids - Tejas, sachin and Akash. She loves the 1st and 3rd sons but hates Sachin.

Arey aisi bhi kya - the way she literally mocks her son or wishes for bad things for him I feel really bad. Pata nahin how the audience watches it.

This girl somehow reminds me of Gopi bahu. She has the same deer in the headlights kind of look. Ive not seen more than 1 episode so I will not comment on the acting but yes she does not suit KD. They look off together. Ek toh KD ka look is so bad that I could not watch beyond one episode. While I loved the use of Marathi language, the chapri style was too OTT.

Sai ki acting ko toh hum khud hi criticize karte the. He was too OTT . The excessive hand movements he used were so distracting and in couple scenes he used to look completely disinterested particularly in end phase of the show.

Cinematography toh we used to make fun ki koi intern kar raha hai
