As someone said the other day, this is very similar to the initial days of the contract marriage. Agasthya kept hurling insults at Imlie without considering her majboori. He just couldn’t see beyond his own situation. But there was something endearing about him. He would himself be a hurt and cry and then go to apologise. The execution was so much better then. Plus the show was visually appealing.

Now with the cost cutting and half hearted efforts from the writers it all looks preachy and repetitive.

If the new shows are giving good competition to TMD and PS then SP might go in to save those slots and not worry about Imlie. Keeping fingers crossed.

Even if Imlie is not being axed, the current efforts put in by the PH, Channel and team is not enough to sustain the show. A lot needs to be done in the story, styling etc. The show isn’t as engaging as other SP shows.

In Anjali's daydream, the atmosphere was anything but platonic. The outfits were slaying, and the chemistry was undeniably scorching hot. However, the current dynamic between Surya and Imlie only offers awkwardly cute moments. The aesthetic appeal has diminished, and the outfits are lackluster. There's a noticeable absence of angst, shared emotional depth, and the captivating background music unique to their interactions.

While I can almost understand the creative rationale behind Gul's decision to kill Agastya, it felt premature and poorly executed. She literally took a piece of my heart and stepped on it. Contrastingly, the legacy show, whose clip Gags graciously shared, had like 5 years of romance before altering the trajectory with the demise of the FL and the ML eventual pairing with her doppelgänger. We barely got 5 solid months.

Regardless of the creative or technical team involved, Adrija and Sai are still able deliver that same aag with their eyes, as evidenced by the recent scenes. But they wasted so much time that the show is probs going to end soon and we have no naam aur nishana of love between our leads. They could get divorced tomorrow and it wouldn't carry any weight, as if the marriage never occurred.

When Agastya and Imlie briefly separated after the bar singer incident in front of the Chaudharys, the emotional impact was palpable. We witnessed Agastya's tears as he reluctantly let her go and observed her anguish caused by his lack of trust. This occurred early in their relationship, but I’m having a hard time envisioning anything similar between Surya and Imlie.

Okay so, y'all's pyaare pyaare posts in the morning had already tempered my excitement for the episode, so I approached it with minimal expectations...smiley36

Overall, I found the episode to be okay. The "mera wife" moment was a highlight, and I was so glad to see its continuation, albeit hoping for a bit more depth in the conversation. While I understand we're not quite at the flirting stage yet, it feels like the writers missed an opportunity to add some substance rather than abruptly shifting the scene. Kuch toh dikha sakte the na?!

And man, this anjali is such a bad actor. The exaggerated dialogue delivery made the 1-2 minute phone conversation a struggle to endure. Aisa lag raha tha jaise 0.5x mein bol rahi hai & I couldn't help but feel frustrated, wishing to step into the screen and silence her with two slaps smiley18

What irked me the most, however, were the missed opportunities throughout the episode. For instance, when Imlie began crying a bit after Surya's angry outburst, it presented a perfect moment to showcase some progress between them. It would have been ideal to see a more emotionally affected Surya instead of yet another scene transition...

The scene with the driver searching was passable, although it did seem to drag on for too long, eating up valuable screen time but thik hai..better than Reddy's drama. Also, that moment where he legit said, "tum jaisa ladki logon ko toh special dhyaan dena chahiye".... "Tum jaisa sundar ladki".. Hayeesmiley43

Also, I don't interpret the "zimmedaari" talk as a callback to Agaslie's story. For once, Imlie didn't frame her actions within the context of fulfilling a promise to her babu or solely for his happiness. Instead, she expressed her desire for independence and the need to no longer be a burden on anyone. Okayish scene again.

Lastly, I understand this might be a controversial stance & many of y'all might disagree, but I find myself siding with Imlie regarding the admit card situation. She articulated her points well to Surya, and I believe she was justified in her reaction. Initially, reading the posts, I had hoped Surya might have merely used his usual aggressive demeanor to handle the officer, but his physical intimidation by grabbing the officer's collar crossed a line. It was disrespectful and unnecessary. The officer was simply doing his job and politely explained the protocol regarding the issuance of an admit card with original documents. There was nothing wrong with his actions.. The scene would've been justified for me if he had misbehaved with imlie or something..

Furthermore, I don't believe Imlie intentionally mentioned Agastya in the follow-up scene. She was merely expressing how his rowdiness can endanger lives, which is undeniably true. Regardless of Agastya's specific situation, his rowdipana & tedha ways pose a danger not only to others but also to himself. The incident where he jumped out of the window and contemplated breaking his hand to avoid telling the truth to Tayi Amma.. Konsa sane aadmi yeh sab karta hai??

Sorry for spoiling everyone's mood in the morning.🥺

Now I have another thing came in my mind.

But on a positive note if suppose to be malti and anjali went to Benaras, after going there may be Anjali throws imlie in to lake and Surya jumps and rescue her. Seeing this Anjali become mad.

Whenever anjali did something, always it benefitted Surya and imlie's relation .

When she gave him intoxicated juice, imlie understood Surya will go any extent to feel her safe.

When she broke Surya 's car at Mami 's house, they had to sleep in one room and on same bed. Here Imlie knew about Surya 's fear about darkness.

When she locked imlie in washroom in bus stand, they have funny moments on roof of the bus.

So let's hope for good in tomorrow's episode 🤗

Got time to watch the episode before I travel.

Yeh Yamlie bohot ghuma phora ke baat karti hain. Seedhe dialogues nahi likh sakte hain iske liye.

So the next conflict between them is seedha rasta and ulta rasta.

Aj jo hua waise serves Imlie right for how she treated Surya after believing in a random stranger. smiley36

Now they will play some challenge challenge before returning home. Chalo der hi lauto ghar. smiley36

Whomsoever Surya saves, he will be drenched. Uske baad he can’t sleep on floor. Said lagegi. Toh Imlie will let him sleep on the bed smiley36

Agreed. Show needs drama. And the family drama isn't engaging. They need to add some problems or conflicts in the family which should directly involve the leads. They should bring back the villain who wanted to kill Surya to create drama. They should also continue with third angle drama.

But for now focussing on the leads is the right thing.

I don’t think Reddy family drama is interesting. I don’t want to see Imlie or Surya waste time behind them. Haan, Guru bhai can be brought in. Also Surya is suspended because of Imlie’s complaint. They can show an enquiry against Surya. Probably during this Imlie realises that Surya can’t be blamed.
