Does anybody knows the difference between story/ screenplay writer and creative director?
As per my knowledge a creative director guides the overall tracks of the show, what twist and turns should be introduced for shock value and increasing trps and how they are supposed to be shot ( like how much intimacy ,physical closeness and gestures are allowed) whereas story and screenplay writers write based on the outline given by creative directors. They just elaborate the idea.
If my understanding is correct then creative director present during revenge family and Masked man track was the most successful one in Imlie S3 because her ideas about Agastya Imlie scenes were most beautifully presented onscreen. She understood how a much- in love couple should be portrayed whether it was romantic scenes or angst one. Also Imlie styling was legit gorgeous and trend setter at that time.
So maybe the creative director who is handling the show after Surya entry wasn't able to read what Imlie audience prefers. The platonic vibes we witnessed after Surya Imlie wedding could also be attributed to the incompetency of creative director.
