Let’s not generalise about fandoms. Lots of Yumhaj shippers on this thread alone adore Maya and are excited for her pairing with Wahaj. A lot of the fandom also calls out the hate she gets.

And this isn’t a year old. Unfortunately, she’s always been a target of something or the other before as well. She means well but so many of her statements get taken out of context and then the bullies come. Being her fan has always been hard because she’s been on the receiving end of misjudgement and hate for a long time.

That’s true someone posted about this before how Maya got trolled for being friends with wahaj from years ago on posts of Wahaj’s wedding celebrations or at any family events. It isn’t anything new it’s only come out more open due to Wahaj popularity and focus being on him any pics he posts gets picked up by media and fans and hence the nasty comments get more obvious and have accumulated even more. But she wasn’t troll free regarding her friendship with wahaj as it’s been happening for many years now.
