Yeah, Guddu bhaiya's 1st big project
Aag laga denge.
Hmmmm...Lahore 1947...wasn't 1940 - maybe - more important (historically).
Indeed a movie that makes me curious about the content.
Will it be again a movie that focusses on the atrocities done in 1947?

As a nice member sent me some information about the movie, I could do my own little research which I find truley exciting and inspiring.
So I started with an article about the play on which Aamir's film is based - the writer of the play, Prof. Asgar Wajahat works (with Santoshi) on the script - well, not the first time Wajahat and Santoshi had a common project as Santoshi's last movie (about Gandhi Godse) is also based on a play by Wajahat - Santoshi's movie clashed with SRK's Pathaan...
Nobody wanted to stage Wajahat's Gandhi/Godse play when it got published - except the Indian actor Tom Alter - Tom Alter had also a role in SRK's VeerZaara - He was born and grew up in a hill station (also site touristique like the one in the Archies)...
So, I start with Aamir's film which leads me (without knowing it before) to ShahRukh .
And - maybe - their is a more direct connection between SRK and Prof Wajahat as latter lectured Hindi at the Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi and was also a director of the mass comunication research center there.
And now, I'll continue to watch the Lahore play on YouTube (no matter that I don't understand what is spoken )
Gorgeous Lahore set recreated in Mumbai + Aamirs intense dialogue leaked.
