Just watched the episode finally and was quite surprised by Arshi dialogues. Arrey, since when did she NOT care about Jhanak progressing in her career?? I always got the impression that Arshi was jealous of Jhanak's talent and didn't want her in the same industry - almost saw her as a threat. And today all of a sudden she was like, okay no harm in J doing the ad shoot, her success will be based on talent blah blah..I was scratching my head for a second when I heard that. Are the makers trying to whitewash her and show Shrishti in bad light !?? That's how it seemed to me. Out of the blue they made Arshi sound like a reasonable person, who had no issues with Ani helping Jhanak out and was only interested in her marriage...this is the same girl who not long ago said she will never lose to J... honestly, made no sense.

And Shristi is the absolute worst! And she wants her daughter to be like her too. I feel if Shristi didn't influence Arshi the way she did then perhaps Arshi would have supported Ani when he brought Jhanak to Kolkata. Because her support was what Ani was counting on and when she didn’t, he succumbed to lying and hiding things from her and his family. Not trying to justify Anis actions here but I do think Shristi is ultimately the root cause of why Ani, J and Arshi are in this situation today.

Coming to Ani.. I found his so-called jealousy a bit OTT. From J's POV, it's her first day of shoot, she's working with a mega star and expects this guy to be a professional...she behaved exactly how I would expect her to. She waited for her senior co-star to come before sitting inside. Nothing wrong with that..I don't think the handshake on its own was enough to ring any alarm bells and make J wary. Sure, Ani picked up some negative vibes. Call it a guys intuition or whatever, but expecting J to do the same was a bit ridiculous to me. And he snobbed her...wow, just as she's leaving for 2 days. Way to go Ani! Instead if he'd snobbed her for the taunts she threw at him inside a few minutes ago would have been more believable (hated that about yesterday's episode!). It would have been better if they showed him explaining to her to be careful and watch out for unwanted advances from anyone.. a short pep talk before sending her out by herself. That would have been more in line with his character.
