Yes, the drama may be required for the show, but such kind is no unnecessary. The message to society can still be given and they have done it beautifully in the past too.

Yes, this is what I have mentioned since a few weeks. The emotional connect of the viewers with the character is very important. The viewers should feel for the character and his/her emotion. This was missing, now it seems they are bringing back slowly.

So, its also important for them to show some backstory to justify Adi's turmoil and connect with the viewers again.
