That diya scene was so random. We need to see if there is any continuation. After all the hurting they did to each other, no follow up talk after the marriage stopped.

After reading Sohini's post on all the rasms in the bengali shadi and how every rasm was performed by Ani and Jhanak. I am thinking this diya scene was just for that.

Ani has called her his wife not once but twice, toh madame is being the ghar ki bahu and doing the first arti as the bahu. Shadi samapt hui.

Sohini - can you confirm?

In essence, are the makers showing this is the RuNak shadi without it being the shadi?!

Adhe dhaan - And if they had to insert it for the heck of it, at least utilise it properly. It's like at this point the makers are very particular on not showing any type of physical attraction/ cliche romance scenes between the leads.

Can’t even call it as a romantic scene or lollipop scene. It is a filler scene.

I think they are trying to find a middle balance between being a routine ITV couple and Adilie who had a more emotional quotient. So far, they are missing the mark badly in the romance dept.

I told you they don’t want to compromise the morality of the male lead. It is as simple as that. Until Arshi is there, we will have a dry season only 😀

Also, I totally dislike how Jhanak talks to Anirudh - when she tells him that she will carve her own path, and that she wants to take her own decisions, what she said was not wrong, thought she has no idea at how she is going to do it, still happy she atleast wants to fight for herself. But the way she told him - I found Hiba very lacking here - like how can Jhanak talk to Ani the same way she talks to the Boses/Srishti./Arshi. Even when she is saying the same thing, when she addresses Ani there needs to be a hint of tenderness in her voice.

Contrast that with Krushal - his voice immediately drops to a tender octave when needed which shows Ani's feelings for Jhanak. Like today at the end of the episode when he asks Jhanak that she could have always left if despite him "forcing" her.

What do you ladies think?

I was impressed with J in mandap.. putting her foot down and refusing to get married to T was worth applauding but in today’s episode, Jhanak didn’t exist for me. None of her repetitive dialogues had any impact since it was all words with no plan. Any sane person in her situation would reach out to law enforcement before venturing out alone.. but yahan madam wants to leave it to gods will. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Her dialogues sounded so good in the updates but when I watched the actual episode, it was just blah! I had this 🙄reaction through out the episode lol
