Divorce might happen, but only after Faiz knows the truth. Hareem will ask for Khula and will either marry Mudassir or move on with her career. An ending like Ishqiya is possible

That’s quite possible and would be the progressive way to end the story for sure. It would also serve Kehkishaan right if she “wins” Faiz after Hareem leaves him for good, only for him to find out about the truth later and leave her for good too. She still hasn’t learned her lesson yet and she’s the main villain.

Also, there has to be an actual point for introducing Mudassar and then killing off his wife so it would make sense if this was the reason. For Hareem to end up with him.

However, the fact that Faiz is prolonging the divorce and getting excuses every time is what is confusing. Maybe the writer has a different end in mind 🤷‍♀️

Perhaps Faiz will still leave his mom but stay with Hareem.

In either case I just hope the main villain who is Kehkishaan, loses Faiz. She has to end up alone. Even her daughter and her husband have turned against her now lol

For me what happens to her is the most important element. The rest is secondary

For a change, I want an Aye musht-e-khaak-type ending where Hareem would take a bullet to save Faiz's life, and then Faiz realizes that she couldn't cheat on him as she truly loves him, and then he will be ashamed of what he did to her.

In Aye Musht E Khaak, Dua didn’t take a bullet to save Mustajab, instead it was an accident and he was always in love with her, but the incident woke his conscience and made him realize that he can’t lie and win her, thus he ends up breaking up with her. I can’t believe both the shows are written by Maha Malik, Aye Musht e khaak was such a great watch while Khumar became a parody version of Humsafar minus Sara
