But I cannot completely sideline imlie's feelings here though. Yes, we're hurt but more because we're seeing things from both of their POVs & we know how much of a gentleman Surya is. But imlie.. She recently discovered his good side, contrasting with the initial days when she saw his worst. Despite being her husband, he still feels like a stranger to her. It's like Agastya and Imlie's story, where Agastya struggled to figure out the real Imlie. Similarly, Imlie will find herself unsure about which side of Surya is genuine because of the misunderstandings Malti & Nirmala will create. Naturally, she will be distressed to think that Surya might be romantically involved with her. The same Surya who's somewhere responsible for Agastya's death. But yes, that slap was not needed. I didn't like it at all.
