I found the movie a cringe fest but liked its music. Though ishhhhh and maar dala did make me laugh as a child.

The biggest cringe in Devdas was SRK's intolerable hamming and overacting, followed by Ash's unbearable wooden acting.

I liked Devdas songs they are evergreen

I don't know about cringe, but ishhh was a craze back then. Plus Shreya's singing was like dawn of a new singing superstar.

I do have some frightening memories of Kirron kher dancing. I think I stopped watching the movie at that point.
