I think the opposite. I think with shehzada there was very good chance of new ML but with Rohit the chances have gone down to very low because Rohit is in good books of rajan. Recently they are hinting towards abhimaan as lifelong lovers- Comparison to dadisa-dadaji by ruhi and today's sindoor and footprints

And last but not least,earlier he doesn't mainly used to do things to make ruhi happy,I agree he used to care for her more than anything else and at some instances very intimately but mlst of the times he was plainly forced into doing those things but he never did anything to just make her happy but now the things is completely changed..

Why I am feeling that armaan's character has changed to match other 2 shows..where MLs constantly maintains that other girl is their love and will always remain so while FL is zimmedari nothing more...

There also janam janam ke scenes and indication are mostly between ML & FL but ML's willingness lies with PL only...

I think rishta took that turn..

You can say channel's interference could be the reason...

As I don't think rajan would have been opted for this seeing his thought process but of-course with his one show going off-air he must be feeling pressurised so most probably channel changed ML characteristics...
