She was never known for her acting to begin with. She is overrated and overhyped on internet.

That doesn't mean that Deepika has "regressed as an actress". I really doubt your intention as it seems another one of those "pitting against" threads (extremely boring - because repeating over & over again the same arguments) ...

Imo, there is absolutely no need to compare her to Aish as Deepika has her own style.

Stick to argue only about what Deepika did/does in roles throughout her carreer - if you have watched enough of her movies (including her debut movie)... or change the topic title...

It's interesting how many "newbies" get banned in these currently crowding-the-forum threads to be much of a muchness

horrible Actress 

I am no fan of DP, but giving credit where is due, she has had her moments of very good acting, if not stellar ones.. Case in point Cocktail and Piku.

However, for me, her greatest feat as an actor is her role as Meenamma in Chennai Express...Comedy, they say, is the hardest genre in acting and her comic timing in the movie was impeccable. Her accent became the plus point in her delivery of that role..

But in general, her acting is usually one tone.

So, I won't say she has regressed as an actor, but she has definitely regressed in selection of movie roles..Her last three outings (her role as Rubai in Pathaan can be debated though) are nothing to write home about..

Deepika or any actress doesn't need to copy kjo daughter . Kjo daughter ka khud ka koi style nahi hai, copy master
