okay on serious note, i find it interesting how there is a big section of desi fans (all ages) who are so hung up on "chemistry" and "romance.. its fine everyone is allowed to enjoy what they like but they watch thrillers and then simp over contrived romance plots.. like is it living vicariously through these characters because of conservative society?

I find chemistry to be overhyped. If you put two good looking individuals together or create the right circumstances, I don't think it is that hard to create chemistry.

Also I don’t think it is restricted to audience from conservative society only rather a particular sect of the audience because even shows like Bridgerton or 50 shades of grey has their own fandom and surely not all of them come from a conservative society.
