Hi all, been a minute

The episodes these couple of days...just top notch!...straight up puts you on an emotional rollercoaster ride...legendary! Sai and Addy are just burning the screen with their talent...they both deserve so much recognition for their work...they captivate their characters emotions so well. Liking the new BGM as well...everything looks hopeful. Just hope the team's hard work can get the show out of this rut.

As for my thoughts on Surya-Imlie equation...I think Surya is already in love with her, either he is in denial or hiding his feelings from everyone else. The moment Imlie took that bullet, is the profound moment that everything changes. Isolating all other heavy drama factors...this girl, whose dreams and hopes he had just shattered in the name of revenge, without a thought saves his life by risking hers...something has to click in him.. the truth of Raghu had been revealed to Surya so anyways he knows of her innocence.

This same parallel was there with August babu as well when she came running back from the car in the tik tik barse pani scene...important scenes where they both start developing feelings for her. I also think Babu realized his feelings for Imlie first...precisely when Imlie was forced to shoot him and couldn't....if I remember, he was trying to express his feelings during that dance scene to Jab koi baat...song lyrics tells a tale itself...

Anyhow, Surya's behavior towards Imlie says that he's hooked...that dosa making scene alone tells me how happy he was to spend some happy moments with her...or when Imlie thrashed him and he told Tayi amma that if it gives her some solace, he would bear anything. And who better to observe all this than the ex huh? she on point here

Is it me, or did Surya say something a bit different when Tripathi first showed his the killers video footage? today he said that he let him go to deal with him in his own way....so that is definitely a wrong on his side and Imlie can be angry on him for that...but I feel he said something a bit different previously...are writer's trying to make him more accountable to August babu's death?

Had a very busy day at work - Sigh. Finally it is weekend.

First of all, I am really happy that the reach of Imlie went up to 3.0 and I really hope from now on Gul gives longer episodes or at the least don't pack in 17 mins episodes please. If only the Time spent goes to 16 or 17 we would get back in Top 5 and would have a trp of 1.8 for sure.

And things go really fast in Imlie world. In one day Surya got shot in his back, got operated on and then he even made a visit to his In-laws place. Baap re. Can they give a change of clothes for Imlie please.

Surya resigns from the police force and surrenders his gun. Imlie is told to be in Purwaiya as she is needed for witness statement. As Imlie walks away from the police office Raghu comes and tries to attack her. Surya comes in between and he is shot in back.

I have to say I really liked the way they showed Imlie in disbelief when Surya came in front of her to save her and was shot. The whole scene where Imlie just stays numb was what I envisioned when I wrote my Two - Shot and I am glad they gave that here today. So Surya and Imlie ka blood group is same and Imlie gave blood to Surya. Wait - Then how come Agastya and Imlie had different blood groups ? Identical twins usually have the same blood group, fraternal twins can have different blood group. Ok whatever - moving on.

So 2 new characters got introduced - Surya ka Dadaji and Hemalatha chachi ka son Arjun. Both of them seem to be positive. Not going to lie - now the screen looks full(with the new cast addition). Dadaji is called CJ and he is very fun loving guy by the looks of it.


Here Imlie comes to Mama, Mami house as she has nowhere else to go and there some people have come to see Bulbul. Not going to lie, it was so nice to see Mama, Mami and Bulbul - the whole OG vibes are coming back. Bulbul looked so pretty and thank god she has not been changed. She still is the one who is on Imlie's side. Bulbul calls up Surya and leaves a message for him. Imlie does not think Surya will come but Surya comes. I thought they are going to brush off Bulbul ka love affair with Karan but thank god - Bulbul herself told that earlier she was in love with a guy but now she has moved on. The family still agrees to the match and the rishta is pakka.

Mami tells Imlie to not do anything that would cause the rishta to break and I guess that is why Imlie will go back with Surya to his house. Chalo only thing I wish for is this week to have all 21 mins episodes please. I don't want to have 17 mins episode as Wednesday ka episode would be gone in the stupid integration with Ghum.

Another 21 minute episode....

Raghu and goons attack Imlie when she leaves from the police station. So Surya took the bullet meant for Imlie. Next second Raghu got caught. Kaise villian hai yeh log.. who attacks a person outside the police station where you can easily get caught?

The scene where they show Surya being shot and parallel main Imlie ke memories of Agastya falling off the cliff, his body on the stretcher, our girl was hell shocked. Chachi and Imlie have a conversation in the hospital and Imlie tells her that she still counts Surya responsible for letting the criminal go due to which Agastya died but did not want Surya to die. Chachi is the sweetest bean - kitne ache se she explained how they need to heal together and how Surya feels so much guilt about that decision he took. She truly understands both their situations and hopefully makes Imlie see Surya ka POV too.

Surya told Anjali that he will always stays true to his word and she needs to leave. Chachi ne bhi Anjali ko ache se pack kar dia (not sure the ziddi daag will actually leave). Surya and Anjali have a nice scene in the garden as per bts so ladki pakka nai jayegi.

It felt so good to see Surya being desperate to be around Imlie. He didn't care about his injury, did not care about the stress of his family or Anjali ke words, all he wanted was to thank Imlie for saving his life (Imlie gave him blood).

Absolutely hated Tayi for slapping Imlie. That was so unnecessary. I don't think Surya will ever get to know of this. The Dadaji wala scene was cute (felt disjointed ngl) but I had a constant smile throughout. Hopefully Chachi, Dada and Arjun bring Surya and Imlie close.

Imlie went to Mama ka house where Bulbul ka rishta aaya tha. They wanted to meet Surya and apna ladka sab chod chad ke aa gaya sasural to support his wife <3. I loved seeing him smile and joke around the family, he even said how lucky he is to have Imlie in his life (sach hi kaha tumne Surya). Bulbul told the guy that she had a past relationship and despite this they agreed for the wedding. Mami does not want anything to break the shaadi. So this is what will make Imlie go back to Surya ka house. They need to start wedding festivities as well because Imlie and Surya will need to pretend to be happy couple before this new family.

TV shows main kabhi post op and recovery procedures nahi dikhane wale. So illogical

No he said the same thing when Tripathi first showed the video footage. He said that he had caught Guru bhai but he was let go and then Guru bhai came to take revenge from him. Also at that time I think Surya thought that he would do a fake encounter and would take care of Guru bhai like he did in his introduction episode. But afsoos, Guru was the one who landed the first blow. The narrative did not change here.

I guess if they have enough time, they might get Guru bhai coming back to attack Surya and Imlie would save him and that is the time she will realize that she has long moved on from Agastya and has started to feel for Surya - her husband.

Blood group ka I can explain....

Agastya and Surya have the same blood group but Imlie has a different blood group (you don't need to have the same matching blood group to donate).

For example, Imlie is A+ and these brothers are AB+ so Imlie can give blood to them but they cannot give to Imlie as she can only take a A+ or O+ group and not AB+. Samjha?

There was Vishwa in the mix too who either was a universal donor like O or was the same blood group as Imlie.

There is a logic here but I can guarantee the writers did not think this far LOL.

I am not sure if the bullet went all the way through Surya because the wound was only on the back and did not come out the other side (front). So I am thinking the bullet was stopped by something like clothing or the gun holster that Surya was wearing. That is why he was awake and he did not need extensive post op and recovery. Surya was able to walk out himself na - So I guess he was not hurt deep.

I absolutely loved Chachiji. The way she told Imlie that if she looked deep in Surya's eyes he is always feeling guilty for whatever happened to Agastya and both of them are drowning in guilt and sadness. Only they both can heal each other. And Chachi totally understood that Anjali was chipakoing to Surya and sweetly told her to go back home. Ache se pack karwaya Anjali ko. I hope Anjali leaves the house.

It would be nice if Surya and Imlie participate in Bulbul ka marriage festivities which will make them close to each other. And thank god for 21 mins episode. Gul please give 21 mins episodes every single day and then see the trps would go up for sure.

Oh okay. Yeah in that way it kind of makes sense. Yes Vishwa was shown to be the same blood group as Imlie.

All I want is Imlie to go back home with Surya and change from that damn blue suit. Get the girl in some sarees please.

I really liked today’s episode, Sai and Adrija’s eyes hold so much emotion honestly. We’re so lucky to have these two as our leads in this show. That look Imlie and Surya shared before she walked out of the police station was 🤌🏼✨

The vibes are finally starting to feel good because we have a bigger cast again. Jugnu’s scene with Surya reminded me of Agastya a bit but in a good way. The new Dada-jhi has a fun loving personality and I’m glad Gul picked a good actor to play Arjun. I think he was also in her web serie, so the show not only borrowed songs but also a devar for Imlie. Loved the jhopdi wali scene with Mama, Mami and Bulbul, it kind of reminded of when Arnav went to Kushi’s house in IPK.

I don’t think I have enough words to show my appreciation for the parallel they drew between Surya being shot and Agastya’s death. From the hands to the flashbacks, they brought in the right feels. My eyes got misty and I love the way they framed everything.

The fact that the 3 deviyas are the reason for Raghu being released, hence Surya being shot, but somehow Tayyi has the audacity to slap Imlie in the middle of the hospital. She doesn’t know a thing but she’s quick to be impulsive. I really dislike that woman, because she stands for nothing. Imlie took a bullet for Surya in the past and now she also gave him blood when he needed it, yet Tayyi still finds a way to villainize her whenever she can.

Anjali’s extra touchy behaviours makes me cringe, she won’t get packed off so easily unfortunately. Surya better not slip up and act too nice towards her anytime soon.

Chachi is the only person who’s seeing things as they are, I’m glad she at least attempted to get rid of Anjali. I also like how she’s kind of the voice of wisdom for both Imlie and Surya at the moment.

Overall, a very enjoyable one. The Reddy’s will become more tolerable now that we have more positive characters to support and understand Imlie.
