Why are people reacting so strongly to shristi calling Jhanak and Ani siblings? I don’t think I understand. It’s shristi talking. Of course, she is doing things that will place both of them as far apart from each as possible, calling them siblings will set an invisible boundary between them, and in public, they can’t act otherwise. I don’t feel disgusted because to me, it’s a very natural thing for shristi to say. Furthermore, Ani and Jhanak want to believe that they themselves don’t want each other and the marriage, so in a normal situation (where they purely are just platonic), shristi won’t be wrong. But it’s even more correct (if you can this) for shristi to say this when she now gets that there is nothing platonic here. I’m more in the mood of ‘what a smart witch’, setting them lines in public. I don’t get how it’s extending into stronger emotions for many because it would only be that bad if shristi was perverting an obvious truth at Ani and Jhanak’s expense, but in this moment, she is merely pointing out what they said / that they are just platonic.
