Maybe Anjali was at home and not present in the Surya rescuing Imlie sequence?

Also wasn't Surya ka birthday coming up - They had decorations for that. Looks like it is coming up later.

Show has only one set so she has to return to Chaudhary house only. Surya Imlie didn’t share the room in even normal circumstances so ab truth revelation ke baad toh bhool hi jao kuch Acha sequences milega.

Yeah by now they should have showed Surya - Imlie sharing room and having some progression in their relationship. Don't know why they are specifically showing that Surya is sleeping outside. They had one episode dedicated to that also with Tayiji telling Surya and Imlie to share a room. I am just going to watch on Auto pilot mode. Just hoping we get the off-air news so that we can move on from this show. Ab kuch acha hoga iss show main woh umeed hi maine chod di hain.

nopes Only three actors were present in yesterday outdoor shoot on that road . Sai Adrija and Anjali with extras playing goon characters.

Birthday sequence will come before goons sequence. Sai doesn't have bandaid on his forehead in Birthday BTS while it is present in goon sequence.

In my defense...I also watched it for the actor, Sumeet Sachdev... Who played Gautam in Kyunki Saas.. 😂

It was nostalgic to see him again..

I agree Sunaina, it’s getting difficult to watch because Surya and Imlie are heading nowhere. They are busy arguing on the same topic in loop. I would have still put up with the Reddys had they shown some friction between the leads. Yahaan toh they still aren’t sharing a room by now. The closeness doesn’t create any awkwardness. Bohot platonic hai. And it hurts more knowing what the leads can actually do.

Lol Gags…. I am with you. Full on FF mode mein dekha hai. Like Sharada, I used to finish off the episodes within 10 minutes.

I was highly impressed with Sai’s acting in Imlie after watching the previous one. The breakdown scenes in the previous one was too OTT.

I have to say Sai was very raw in MHRW, In Imlie he has refined so much and I absolutely loved every aspect of Agastya. Chashni was something that did not do anything to Sai ka credibility as an actor. The story was blah, the shooting and the whole atmosphere of the set was pathetic. Imlie main Sai nailed down every shade of Agastya and Surya also works in some scenes. The fault lies in the writers not able to give convincing screenplay for Surya character. But Imlie has been a real blessing because Sai has matured as an actor.

I watched the episode twice, not because I liked it a lot but because the first viewing was with my friends after iftar. I paused often to translate and provide context.

It’s disheartening that the tradition of changing names still persists, particularly for some of our AT members, though I understand it’s more a home nickname. Nonetheless, I’m grateful the show shed light on something previously unfamiliar to me within my environment.

We already anticipated there wouldn’t be real conflict regarding the name change, given the show is named after Imlie. However, I’m glad they delved deeper into Tayyi’s internalized misogyny and her desire for control within the family. We assumed her husband had cheated, but it turns out it was her daughter-in-law, Urvashi, leading to the loss of both her son and husband. She’s projecting much of this onto Imlie due to her own ambitions and open-mindedness.

The original names of all the Reddy women made much more sense for them. Chanda Chachi is so much more catchy and memorable than Hemlata Chachi. I appreciated the moment when Imlie addressed Tayyi by her real name, I missed this side of her.

I didn’t sense any strong emotions from her monologue because I felt everything she said was accurate. Tayyi’s stubbornness seemed more abnormal than anything else to me. This woman acts so surprised whenever Imlie doesn’t agree with her.

Anjali is a classic ‘pick me,’ but thanks to her, Imlie now knows the deep-seated traumas within the household. It certainly doesn’t compare to the bombshell of Agastya’s illegitimacy reveal; Sonali had me shook that day. When she asked Imlie for her husband’s name and interrupted her before ‘Chaudhary,’ stating she wanted ‘his identity, not the favor bestowed upon him,’ it sent chills down my spine.

It’s intriguing how Surya keeps reminding Imlie not to invest too much in his family’s issues, given her one-year marriage plan. However, she’s starting to develop some care for him, which might change after she learns about Agastya’s death circumstances. He doesn’t plan on leaving her alone so how are they going to deal with this?

The new BGM seems to be kind of at random, not necessarily for Imlie and Surya since they also play it during scenes with Anjali. Who knows at this point if we’ll get something new with lyrics and stuff.

I don’t know about y’all, but there was no precap at the end of the episode for me on Hotstar. Is this another sign of them giving up on the show? Either way, I’ll keep tuning in as long as the show is on air, I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

By the way, what a coincidence that both of the third angles of this season have kanji aankhein…
