The belief prevalent in Islam where they believe that once they die they go to Heaven and are never born again has been refuted by Quran. Verses from Surah Al Anbiya 104 in Quran Sharif & Majid clearly explain the concept of Birth / Rebirth.

Surah Al Anbiya - 21:104: The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it.

In the verse of the Quran mentioned above, it has been clearly mentioned that the creation will be repeated similar to how it was done before. This proves that rebirth is imminent until once attains salvation.

Today is the day of Easter, where Jesus Christ resurrected from his grave on the 3rd day after being mercilessly crucified to spread the message of the defeat of death and the hope of salvation.

Religion interprets this concept differently, though it does exist in some form in each for certain sects.

Religious beliefs aside, I was just generally asking for a personal belief tbh, do you think it is possible for us to be reborn and be familiar with someone the way they show in these tv shows/movies?

Concept different hai. Muslims don't believe in rebirth, we believe in the afterlife

Thanks for sharing. If I unintentionally crossed a line, sincere apologies, the intent of asking was anyways not religiously-inclined at all. Interpretations bahut alag hai alag alag communities mein isliye pucha. There is a belief Prince Siddhartha was reborn as Gautam Buddha under the Bodhi Tree after attaining his passage to truth. In the physical sense, obviously body remained the same, but spiritually he was now a completely new person. That could also be rebirth that does not involve dying and coming back. Anyways, to be fair, we'll then end the topic here :)
