I have seen shows with this theme before and both parties adjust/ pretend before the family.

You know what, Imlie does not even need to meet him half way, bas don't try to create more issues for him before the family. She wants to live in the marriage for a year till she can give the exam, sure leave after that. She does not want to be his wife in the privacy of their room, sure, he wont mind that either. Family ke samne pretend karne ko kya problem hai?

I was just thinking how easily we will hold Surya accountable if he does the slightest bend towards Anjali but it is not fair on Surya too that his wife is still in love with Agastya. I mean give Surya the same leeway that Imlie gets. The writers are not doing him favors by showing him so non-chalant and so hoity-toity. We have been seeing Imlie for months, so naturally there will be more smypathy towards her. Please tone Surya down and make him more likeable.

My 2 cents : Both are indifferent to each other.. and it makes sense to me right now.. Imlie toh dur dur tak Surya ka kyun sochegi.. She is dedicated to Auggy, like Meera was to Kanha.. She is just passing each day to complete her studies and then fly off, leaving everyone behind..

And though aaj bhagna banta nai tha uska, but I guess, she got too overwhelmed by everyone's expectations from Suhaagraat.. And as she has been trying for Sruya to admit the truth to everyone about this being a marriage of convenience, she also doesn't trust him enough.. To her credit, she did try to call him many times..

Coming to Surya, he is equally uninterested.. He lacks any kind of romantic feelings or even any sense of camaraderie at the moment.. I am sure, even Anjali ka pyaar is completely one sided..

Surya and Imlie actually need a catalyst in their story. Neither are they interested nor the family.

I don’t know how will Anjali help at this point. Surya may feel awkward but Imlie won’t be jealous for sure.

Lagta hai Daadi ko bulwana padega. Only she can emotionally blackmail them for Chaand tare

the whole suhaagraat drama should have been. a night sequence. Imagine Imlie running away from house in the dead of night and Surya getting tensed about her safety. Raat mein rescue karta toh we could have gotten dialogues like " tumko kuch ho jata toh"

Surya's dialogues were nice here and Sai does speak good Telugu. Surya was saying - Aye Shanti Shatru, what happened to you. Everyday you go on like an alarm clock and rain bullets like AK-47 Ab kya hua ? Kuch to bolo na.

I laughed out loud when Imlie very disinterestedly says - I did not understand anything.

At this point, she has given up trying to understand.. And she has observed, ki jab tak he doesn't rant in Telugu, he won't calm down..

I love the way we all have moved on from Laddo, Jalebi, Peda, to Chaand-Taara..

I had stopped watching by then, but from what I recall.. she did some time rewind stuff, and the 3 lead jodis ki stories started from scratch.. I think it was the last gimmick she used to extend the Show ka timeline, cos by then she had exhausted all kinds of plot twists..

You don't worry about Chaduhary house exiting... she can even bring back the actors, and whomosoever doesn't return, she can change the actor playing that character.. She did that with Shivaay's sister, who came back as a new actor in the time rewind plot..

show lost its essence the day they killed Agastya . Ab chahe kuch bhi karle the show won't get its "IT" factor again. The retro vibes got vanished, the village simplicity isn't there which attracted me in the first place. They took away Imlie love for singing and cooking. Strange how they could make a creepy track like masked man entertaining but are now struggling to write even simple couple scenes

All these things you mentioned are true from characters pov but simultaneously these things are also making story boring for us audience.

Kuch toh chahiye toh that we can be invested in their story and can predict their next action. Yeh vidhwa ke taano se kitne din kaam chalayenge.

I have no doubt that Imlie will push Surya towards Anjali so that she can get free from this marriage seeing writers exceptional talent

no expectations no disappointment rule follow karna padega yeh show ke liye

ab toh yeh halat ho gayi ki if writers someday give consumation scenes of Surya Imlie before them actually falling in love , instead of being happy we all raise morcha ki aise kaise itna special sequence casual way mein de diya. We wanted to see their falling in love journey
