Contrary to popular belief there is a difference between nag race as well just like there is a difference between daitya , danav , Rakshas ..... So what is it is Kadru gave birth to Uraga and Surasa to Pannaga ... Surasa was the mother of Vasuki , Takshak and Airavata and Kadru ...we know the story and Kadru was the mother of Sheshnaag , kaliya ... except Shesh ji everyone is cruel in Kadru race but same is not the case with Surasa ... Kadru sons were extremely large serpents with multiheads and Surasa nag can fly .... However after epic battle of Kadru - Vinata we know ... Garudji started battling every naag ...and then Vasuki took shelter in Mahadev and then legendary battle of Hari and Har for their bhakt - Garud and Vasuki

Very interesting post. I wish some makers show these naaglok stories. Some bits and pieces appear in ramayan and Mahabharat.

Rest i saw kadru Vinita story in other show..

But vasuki was inclined towards Mahadev from beginning isnt it. He became the rassi during samundra manthan

Actually some stories are conflicting like Vrinda and Jalandhar , Tulsi and Shankchuda , but yes clarity and subtle hints are always there ... Like Kadru cursed all naga to die because they didn't helped her sons ( so here is the hint that all naga were not her children ) of Sacrificial fire which later almost becomes true( the famous Janamejeya Sarp Yagna ) for not helping her sons but Vasuki intervened and found out the marg that son of her sister Manasa will save nag race and because of him Asti eventually saved nag race .... there are different races of Naga - Uraga , Pannaga , Sarp of which Surasa was the mother of Sarp jati as far as I remember .... Other than that there are 7 lok in patal lok itself that's why there different nagraj are there like Vasuki is Nagraj of lowest realm , Takshak is nagraj of one group in Khandavprastha etc etc

Oh forget about nag even Asura kul are not given proper weightage like Danav , Daitya , Rakshas have different progeny and ancestory ....and how Ravan was the one to actually unite most of the Asura kul except some of groups of Danav like Kalkeya because Danav had the boon from Brahmaji that except Manav nobody could defeat them and Shurpnakha - Vidyutjeeva were you know one of the victim of honourable killing at that time and till the time Pandav Arjuna nobody defeated Danav in their own Patal Lok the famous Nivatkavach Battle ( which made the alliance with Ravan after defeating him )

Oh I am not at all gyani ... Just curious because I love reading about scriptures and try to make sense because sometimes it is very confusing.... Ramayan has many interesting things and Mahabharat to I love ...so much knowledge... Your welcome

After two super episodes, comes an okayish one. Too much of goodness will spoil the users, so that's okay

I liked the Rakshasis' introductions. Some were funny. I'm not sure Hanuman killed which all of them, but it'll be fun to watch.

Meghnaad minus the overacting was good. Somehow when the actors strain their veins in the name of acting, I start rolling my eyes

Prachi's stern and worried expressions are quite good. Giver her expressions and no dialogues, please

Lakshman - ladka heera hai heera koi bhi situation ho, acting on point

Lanka has a good plastic surgeon. Shurpi's nose job is pretty impressive The smug (?) expressions on her face though. Why lady? Just why?

Don't they have any hair stylists in Lanka? Ravan ke baalon aur beard ka bhi kuch karo

Colorful tattoos on Maa Parvati's arms

Now some of the things that trigger my OCD:

1. The extremely uneven teeth of the stone rakshas. I was so terrified when he went on speaking. I was like Hey Raam, jalaa do ise jaldi, mujhe bhi mukti milegi

2. They've added animation to Lord Shiva's snake. Good. But guys, please be consistent with the forked tongue. It was present in a few episodes, then went missing again.

Hey ur comments are really interesting and funny.

Even I was thinking on same lines about the surgeon in Lanka. He did good job on shurpankha. I think he is same one who Hanuman brings when lakshman is hit by Shakti baan.

And hairstylist ha ha I hope u had seen 2008 imagine tv ramayan. There also the hairstyles were really funny.

About lakshman yes perfect u said. Any emotions he does it well plus his dialogue delivery is very good.

I have noticed that vibishan and meghnaath both rakshas yet they r not gvn weird makeup or crazy colorful hair.. then why lankesh the powerful is gvn cartoonish look.
