Going out for a friends place for dinner. So it is going to be a short post from my side today.

Today's episode was superb. This is something I would have loved to see Agastya doing if he was not killed. Surya gets Imlie home and the Reddys start badmouthing her. Bechari she gets shocked to see these people who were so arrogant with her in the morning as Surya's family. Surya stands up to his family and says he has married Imlie and Imlie is his wife and to accept the facts. The younger Chachi seems to be kind and she might be the one who will be Imlie's side soon.

I like that they are showing Surya as a person who is standing up for Imlie. Dadi calls Imlie and Imlie cries listening to the talks. The confrontation and everything was top notch - not going to lie, the new family is much better and if they add in some cousins the show will be balanced. Chacha says that what Surya did will be bad influence on youngsters so there are some youngsters in the picture.

It was a dhoom dhadake wala trp audience type episode.

I don't know if I should give brownie points to Surya or not. He was persistent with Imlie, convinced her about her promise to dadi to nibhao the wedding and took her back home. He also stood firmly before his family that he took that decision to marry so they shouldn't blame Imlie or Chaudhary family. Haa woh baat alag hai that the whole family gave the choicest words to Imlie before Surya took her side again (trp mata ki kripa).

The thing is Surya is now not just a ehsaan ka maara because this family adopted him from the dustbin, he also needs to justify his loyalties with this family over his real family and there's Dadi ko dia hua promise and Agastya ke promises ko nibhane ka boj. This man is ultra majboori ki dukan. Upar se Imlie is accusing him too and he couldn't care less to justify (and can't even tell her his reasons for the marriage).

I am shocked why Imlie isn't thinking that the reason Surya went against his family must be extremely huge. He literally had to go full against his family. When Imlie was not allowed to enter and Surya took her to the car, I presumed they will both go to the outhouse. Liked how he held her hand gently. Obviously, not liking the fact that Surya left her there and went inside coz Imlie asked him to. Is he going in there to manofy his family and then take her back inside the house?

So we learn that Tayi amma lost her real son very young right about the time they adopted Surya which is why she raised Surya like her own son. I loved her sari, it was super classy. But she definitely needs glasses. Imlie wahan sindoor aur mangalsutra pehenke khadi hai and all these people were happy the shaadi didn't happen. Only chachi ji who was standing far away saw the sindoor and mangalsutra. Lol.

Surya ki Chachi is so sweet and will support Imlie, I like her already. Surya needs to take a better stand for Imlie and himself but seeing the mountains of his majboori, I was impressed with what he did today. Bagawat ki shuruvat hai yeh. Tayi is super smart and manipulative. I love her so much. She will pretend to accept Imlie and work towards separating the couple.

I have a big doubt and it's funny actually.

Surya is Surya Pratap Reddy presumably coz his Dad ka name is Pratap. If Indira is his Tayi, why is her name Indira Pratap Reddy. Shouldn't it be her husband (Surya ka Taya ka name instead of his father's?). I just found this so hilarious that no one in the writing team thinks of these things 🙄

It's not like Agastya Singh Chaudhary who has 2 Surnames. This is just off.

Reddy’s are a caste in Andhra Pradesh.

Reddy is the caste name and most likely pratap reddy is the family name.

Thanks for letting me know. My first instinct is always to the writers got it wrong and I have good reasons for it.

These Reddys are so dramebaaz. Except Chachi everyone gives me a headache. Sabse Badi headache is Malti. What a waste character.

I want Surya to be more assertive. Sirf itne se kaam nahi hoga. It was heartbreaking to see Imlie being thrown out of her own house. That was Chaudhary house, Imlie’s house. These Reddys just came in this morning and threw her out. I just couldn’t see the new dulhan sit and cry in the car alone.

Btw, what was Daadi thinking while talking to Imlie? She knows Nirmala and Malti were against the wedding. She never bothered to find out or meet the others in Reddy family. She didn’t bother to call them for the wedding. And now she expects them to welcome Imlie with aarti ki thaal

Legit felt bad for Surya... Bechare ki majbooriyaan khatam hi nhi ho rhi... Surprisingly ye August Babu se bhi zada majboor hai, never thought that was possible

But I'm so glad that he's taking a stand for Imlie from the get go! This is really important if the writers want to convince us that Imlie can fall for this Problem ka Pakoda and move on from her Babu! Loved how he hasn't changed overnight and become a sadhu.. he still snaps and gets irritated by Imlie's accusations and anger but is gentle with her as it's now his responsibility to fulfil his twin and nanamma's wishes.. seeing him gradually fall for her and wish for a sacha rishta and not a majboori wala one will be interesting

Taiji will be an interesting villian in SurLie story... She is cunning, shrewd and manipulative, so will be interesting to see what stunts she'll pull trying to separate these two..

Chacha and Amma are useless, annoying people who reminded me of Chintamani and his biwi

Chachi is adorable.. I think she'll help Imlie understand the family dynamics

Malti really pissed me off today... ek hota hai delusional and ek hota hai iske level ka andha... Can't believe she really thinks that someone like Imlie tried to fasao her useless gunda of a husband and now her rowdy frowny anna! Ye behen alag hi delulu hai...

Dadiya's call scene was really emotional... Never thought I'll miss her... Was heartbreaking to see Imlie be badmouthed by Reddy's and bawl in the car.. want our fighter girl back ASAP!

Can't wait to see how Surya will convince the family to let Imlie in

Waise... Kal se dimag mein ek baat chal rhi hai... Raghu mentioned ki jaake pata laga kaun tujhe maarna chahta tha and they showed it to be Guru bhai... but what if it was Indrani or Chacha who sent Guru after Surya coz they feared he'll uncover their illegal businesses!? Showing that I feel can be the only way Surya can truly break free from this "mamta ki majboori"
